from the expression assignment:
Step into the Light
Is perceived loss more unbearable than actual loss?
“I have to ask; I need to know - was it ever love?”
It’s even more painful when you are left to realize that something essential something that meant so much something you felt so deeply and that you believed you shared, mutually in fact was none of this You are left questioning, alone then, there brings the desperate attempt to bring the other to see what you see your perception to see the light step into the light
i have always loved dulli's version, but never read it this way before.....

Love is gone from my vision, here. Claudia is magic with her voice.
After the love's taste has left.

normally I don't like remade songs, they are usually poor imitations
I was prepared not to like this (even with Greg) how dare someone remake a Whigs song
I was and still am blown away. This piece of bitterness has a new life, a new meaning. The bile is removed and the loss and regret are what's left

it's crazy to me how something so dark and haunting is still so beautiful....

not to bring back the live show, but jerome was as masterful as lindsey buckinham with his fingerpicking

up in the trees
the most haunting song that so coyingly invites me to entertain the possibility of willingly allowing myself to disappear...
