damn dutchess...you gave me crazy chills because as i was reading "and maybe i'm just like you" she was speaking the words onto my screen. this is one of the hardest songs for me to listen to…this one touches a nerve…and brings to the surface such raw emotion…unvarnished, and inescapable. “and maybe i’m just like you” …to my mind, such a scathing self-indictment… that's the hardest line for me to get through on AIL

welcome vraja...
i just want to say that the live performance brings a certain level of aggression to these songs that i didn't find on the album...after seeing this song live, the first crash in with the drums...holy shit! made this my favorite! here we go......!!!!!1 -------go watch the trailer when you get the chance, you'll see what i mean...i can't wait for this dvd===========

liar's day ..
still haunts me from the spaceland show, it was powerful and delicate all in one. the drums are so tribal and the guitar wailing and crying. wish we could go back.

liars day drives me into a desolate place… devastated in the midst of fresh ruins (of my own making?)...
am compelled to follow wherever that rhythm takes me, am lulled into the abandon of the haunted melody…am blindly pulled to the precipice and left stranded.

live is most definatley the best way to hear this song. it feels so much more vital than on the recording.

I wish to lay under a safe place, away from the hurt this song gives.

My husband will get me for saying this. When first I hear Prins Hendrik, I had tears falling, very sad loving tears. He did not care so much for it. I was loving it from the start.
