rogets, when you finally get that baby in your hand..and get a full listen..you'll be in a good mood...is really awesome.

what i love about this place from you guys, and things Jerome has shared (some of his musical tastes, other artist he admires, etc.), I have found some real treasures with music. I've been "out of the loop" for years and without a lot of time to research (as nothing easy to get to is any good as far as my tastes go)....I've been in a dry spell with finding wonderful things.

2 things I've enjoyed; the re-introduction to Chris Whitley (as the stuff I love the most I'd never heard), and Mr. Waters!


I've also enjoyed getting a taste of the Twilight Singers..and hope I have the energy to get to the DC concert in June!

I'm going to the Mpls, Chicago and Indy shows. I was gonna go to Columbus and Newport too, but decided to visit my mom instead while in Minnesota. Even GD can't trump mom.

By the end of May I'm going to be broke and have no vacation left, but damn I'll have had fun.

i am going to try and go in June..I will have to go alone, but not the first time I've done DC by myself..probably wont' be the last.
