(I'm sure this was posted on the old boards, looong ago, maybe even by me.)
I know the album is releasing soon (caught-off guard type soon, to be honest!), making this a just in time subject to talk about, not knowing which songs these are in, but even with so little to choose from, which is your favorite polaroid sample, and why? (that can be a one word answer, even) Including the intro loop, of course.
All have been capturing me since day 1... and that day isn't on my calendar anymore, but if I had to choose just one, 4. 4 is just one that leaves me completely guessing of what is to come after such a sound that puts me under; that deep breath we all hear so clearly cutting out, so nearly (no puns), is just what I feel like when I tell myself I've got to prepare for the following. Yeah, what is to follow? Who is taking that breath? Is that all before that even the beginning? The whole fading of violins...? It's amazing, and actually the first I heard of nearly (had the volume turned down for the intro and didn't realize it! ha ha), so it's really just what I think of when I think of this. I'm a huge fan of violins, even if I can't play them worth crud.

4! being the aspiring violinist that I am, I have a soft spot for it. but it really pulls me in. I can't wait to hear the rest of it!

I agree 4 is wonderful..but there is something in #7 that sounds like "Leaving Hope" from NIN's Still album. Leaving Hope I think has to be my favorite NIN song, so I am pulled toward #7
