Just realised there's a preview of prins hendrik up at the Kufala Records place: www.kufala.com/artists/show.php?catnum=125#Pretty good stuff. For some weird reason the opening bit reminds me of Kill Bill Vol 2. ...don't ask me why - even I don't know haha okay.....hmm...what to do for 31 days until it comes out... Come on Dec 20th...*taps finger*

Every snippet I've heard from this has given me goosebumps! I'm so excited. JD just made my day! Actually, it's been a rough year, but I expect it to end nicely..and lots to look forward to for next year!

Prins Hendrik is sounding really nice . The background sound work is so perfect. It's a clash of sounding so warm but still a little cold to me. I love it. Great light percussive use of Jerome. Man... go on.

The clip reminded me of Afghan Whigs/Greg Dulli. Jerome said in the interview that Greg and he are like brothers. AW's last album 1965 is my favorite, and I listened to it almost every day until NIN's The Fragile came out!
I hope they collaborate more in the future. It would be nice if they tour together. Has anyone here listened to Amber Headlights? I have so far only downloaded Pussywillow from iTunes.

The clip reminded me of Afghan Whigs/Greg Dulli. Has anyone here listened to Amber Headlights? I have so far only downloaded Pussywillow from iTunes. I have. I don't not like it but if I'm gonna put in something from Dulli post Whigs, this wouldn't be my first choice. To me, AH is more of a Whigs part II than a Twilight release. That said, I can't help but wonder if the first Twilight cd would have sounded more like this had it not sat on the shelf so long. AH is an interesting study in time and makes more sense if you listen to it after reading what Dulli wrote -- www.thetwilightsingers.com/heavenly/greg_dulli_on_amber_headlights_54.php The songs really are "works in progress" and feel incomplete, like they have more to say than what was laid down. I'd love to hear them live, to see if they are reworked at all to reach the potential they seem to be waiting for. It is what it is, if you are a rabid Whigs and post Whigs fan (like me) than it's worth the $. If not than skip it and wait for the next Twilight release.

No prob. After writing this I got the urge to listen to it again. I've been listening to all NIN, all the time ately so it's a nice change. It's definately growing on me and I'm liking it better and better with each listen. I'd rate it a definate buy.
