Thinking what nearLY could sound like, so I hear the website shorts and I read the news on who is guest on his record.

Information on the long-awaited release of Jerome's solo project, 'nearLY', will be announced in the coming weeks. guests on the record include: Claudia Sarne, Greg Dulli, Petra Haden, Tanya Haden and Keith Hillebrandt.

I searched out the artist listed, this thrills my socks off to hear such vocal beauty I can able hear how it will be.

I think the quote about November may be a little old. In Jerome's posts on the old message board he mentioned parting company with one little indian, and then being encouraged by Trent to hold out until he found a label that truely got where he was coming from.

I found this about 12 rounds and Trent:

Although currently championed by Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor, who signed the band to his Nothing label, the British duo 12 Rounds was originally signed to Polydor and began as a trio. Although the debut, Jitter Juice, sold well enough to lead to a series of festival appearances back home and an extensive tour with friends the Sneaker Pimps, the band -- Atticus Ross and Claudia Sarne -- was ultimately dropped by Polydor. They used the downtime productively and recorded an album's worth of material in the summer of 1997 in their studio basement. When Reznor heard the tapes, he signed them immediately, and eventually put out My Big Hero in July 1998, with a world tour to follow. Besides 12 Rounds, the pair has worked with others as well, such as a collaboration with Bomb the Bass, and production credits that include Barry Adamson's As Above So Below and a new band called No Jahoda. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide

Atticus Ross (engineer on With Teeth) and long-time partner Claudia Sarne (lead singer of 12 Rounds) are getting married this evening in London.

Just for the record, I think 12 Rounds is a badass name ...

Well, wait.

Is it referring to 12 Rounds of ammunition or 12 Rounds as in ... shots (drinks)?

No 12 Rounds, no ZDLR, no Tapeworm.... I don't know what the problem is but I hope at some point we hear something. Looking so foward to nearLY.

Yeah as far as anything new coming from 12 Rounds... well no one knows. As far as all the communication from Claude things sound pretty bleak.

There was Error (which is Atticus from 12 Rounds, his brother Leo, the dude from Bad Religon and the lead singer from Dillinger Escape Plan - though that will change as he was a temp) last I heard about Error was they were working on an album length release.

They did the soundtrack for Touching Evil (some series that showed in the US for a while but died out) plus Claude made some mention of some more soundtrack work but no names.

Really the fall of Nothing Records had quite an impact on 12 Rounds... as you could imagine
