...on what's goin' down.
over the past few months, i've been working on several projects concurrently. back in july, we got to a point where i felt ready to mix new songs for the next Nearly joint, only to realize during final preparation that the material wasn't where i wanted it to be. after some time away from it, we went back into the studio last week and finished the tracking on what will be the first new Nearly song in five years, Under The Ice. i'm extremely pleased with the result and anxious to get it out. we're hoping to move into mixing/mastering before the end of the year and subsequently release it as a free download.
in addition, i've been asked to compose music for an independent feature, prior to it being shot. we're currently in the studio experimenting.
lastly, singer/guitarist, scott mccloud (Girls Against Boys) and i are working together on a new project.
